Interview skills are a learned set of tools necessary to communicate your value as an employee in the interview situation. With 80% of our population employed in the service industry there is a huge need for individuals with interview skills who are able to teamwork, make decisions and understand others and to get these abilities across in an interview requires interview skills.

Behavioral Interview questions play a large part in today's job interview and having the interview skills to recognize and give detailed responses to this type of questioning will say to an interviewer that you are the right person for the job. In some cases having interview skills can be more important to an interview than your experience.

Job titles that you have held may have little to say about what your job really entailed. Having the correct interview skills will allow you to be more creative in the selling of what you have done and is essential to interviews and to self promotion.
